Generate audio with audio encoding other than PCM

I see the audio is generated with audio encoding PCM only. Is there any configuration to generate an audio for mulaw, alaw or linear16?

No, right now we do pcm encoding by default. Which encoding do you prefer?

Thanks for the response, I would prefer u-law and linear16.
