`make depend` target fails for Linux 6.10.10

The module's makefile offers make depend target, but that fails for Linux 6.10.10:

git clone https://github.com/freemed/tty0tty.git
cd tty0tty/module

and then
make depend:

tty0tty.c:30:10: fatal error: 'linux/init.h' file not found
   30 | #include <linux/init.h>
      |          ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 error generated.
make: *** [Makefile:40: depend] Error 1

git describe --tags of the cloned tty0tty source shows 1.2-59-gac540b8, i.e. at commit ac540b8

I do not know; I do not know how kernel compilation works.

Kernel headers are installed, and compilation via DKMS works.

So I do not know if make depends needs to be specified some special options.

I do not decide if it is kept open; you who knows better the code and build system decide.

the headers are missing because the makefile doesn't feed the kernel headers to the ${CC} command:

something like this should be more correct:

depend .depend dep:
	$(CC) $(CFLAGS) -DMODULE -D__KERNEL__ -isystem${KERNELDIR}/include -M *.c > .depend

besides it is not clear to me what is the depend make command for.

The above most likely will fail in the asm/*.h include files as those are most likely asm-generic and a symlink should be created, but that is created through the makefile's kernel generally.

So it should be clarified what is the purpose of depend
