At the 2025 sprint we discussed retiring support for Bing Maps, and this seems like a good move given that Microsoft itself is on a path to retire Bing Maps itself:
"Microsoft has retired Bing Maps for some users as of June 2024, and it will be retired for all Bing users on June 30, 2028."
