Current usable version of WGPU?

WGPU 30 is out, but the related crates haven't caught up yet:

wgpu (crates.io current: 30.0.0)

wgpu-egui (crates.io current: 0.35.0)

    Depends on wgpu "^29.0"
    
wgpu-profiler (crates.io current: 0.27.0)

    Depends on wgpu "^29.0.0"

I'm bringing some code that uses WGPU-related crates up to newer versions. I want the latest improved locking. Should I go for WGPU 30 or WGPU 29? The related crates seem to be holding off.
I see a lot of WGPU 30 bug reports.
