Feature Request: Weekday‑specific “Solar Reserved for Battery” setting in Solar Forecast strategy

Summary

I would like to request an enhancement to the Solar Forecast strategy that allows configuring "solar reserved for battery" per weekday. This would make the charging strategy more accurate for households with varying consumption patterns throughout the week.

Problem / Motivation

My household energy usage differs significantly depending on the day. For example:

• Laundry days: higher daytime consumption
• Work-from-home days: usage shifts earlier in the day
• Other days: consistently lower or higher baseline loads

Because the current "solar reserved for battery" value is global, it cannot reflect these day-specific patterns. As a result, the system may under- or over-reserve solar energy for the battery on certain days.

Proposed Solution

Add an option to configure weekday-specific values for "solar reserved for battery" within the Solar Forecast strategy. For example:

Weekday	Reserved Solar (kWh)
Monday	4
Tuesday	2
Wednesday	7
...	...

Benefits

• More accurate battery planning
• Better alignment with real household consumption patterns
• Improved self-consumption and reduced grid import
• No impact on users who prefer a single global value

Thanks to @gitcodebob I now have a working Home Assistant automation that allows me to set a different value for solar_reserved_for_battery per weekday.

I created a small HA card where I can enter the values for each day, and the automation updates input_number.house_battery_solar_reserved_for_house shortly after midnight. This works great as a temporary solution.

For reference, here is the automation Bob provided:

While the workaround functions perfectly, it would be much cleaner and more user‑friendly if weekday‑specific values were supported directly within the Solar Forecast strategy. This would avoid the need for custom HA automations and make the feature accessible to all users, including those who don’t use understand Home Assistant automations.

So although I’m happy with the current workaround, I still believe this would be a valuable addition to HBC itself 😄
