Nightly releases

Any chance we can have nightly builds set to automatically release? There are a few issues that have been closed, but is still awaiting a manual release from the author.

I'm not planning to add automatic releases or tags, but you can still get unofficial builds from GitHub. Go to the actions tab and click on one of the builds. The binaries are at the bottom of the page. For example: https://github.com/glikely/obs-ptz/actions/runs/31303095613

@sasvdw two things about the Actions route that trip people up, in case you hit them:

• You need to be signed in to GitHub. Artifact downloads are not available to anonymous visitors — the link just bounces you to a login page. That is a GitHub restriction, not something this repository sets.
• Artifacts expire. The default retention is 90 days, so older runs show the artifact greyed out.

For what it is worth, everything that currently blocks the plugin on OBS Studio 32.2.x is already on main: the dependency bump to OBS 32.2.1 with Qt 6.11.1, plus the fixes from #324, #325, #329 and #270. So a build from the latest main run does contain all of it.

There is also a temporary Windows x64 build in my fork, from back when #331 was still open — @glikely was fine with it existing as a stopgap. It will go away once 0.18.3 is out, and it is Windows only, so the Actions artifacts are the better route if you are on macOS or Linux.

Overtaken by events, in the best way: v0.19.0-rc1 went out a few hours after this thread, with a Windows installer and zip, a macOS package and a Linux .deb. No login needed, no 90-day expiry.

Ignore what I said about the build in my fork — it is marked superseded and coming down.
