I am actually wondering why it's taking so long. I don't remember it's taking this long to have been updated before (PR or no).

I think the guys that approve the PR for Dalamud are just really busy. I know of several mods that are still under review and have not yet published to the official depo yet. Just got to wait I guess.

Oh, I see; it is goaaats that updates this mod. I think he has been out of pocket this past week to do any updates to his mods. Hopefully he gets to this one soon since it is a fairly small pull to get it updated and working (I pulled the updates to my local fork and have been using it for several days with no issues ;))

If you know how to use Visual Studio and are comfortable with making a fork and updating it on your own, you can do this as well in the meantime; else just got to wait.

Well, we still need goaat to actually accept the PRs, which he hasn't done. For people that just want to use it, there is a working fork, if you know how to use dev plugins: https://github.com/Shinryin/UltrawideCutscenes (at least until he actually accepts it)

I mean... it's all there. The whole point of github is because it's open source. If you don't trust some code, you can always review it yourself and in so doing, comment if it's somehow malicious. As i don't see a comment like that in the whole week that that fork has been active, i don't think there is.

I'm not too familiar with github, so I don't know what guarantee there is that his binary is unmodified beyond the changes in his repo. I have no reason to believe there's anything wrong with his build, I just try to practice a safe level of paranoia.
