Ethernet communication problem between teensy 4.1 and windows 10 (laptop)

i am not able to see IP address in io sender console tab for connecting T41U5XBB to my windows 10 laptop, it is displaying as below [IP : ]

I am following https://www.grbl.org/single-post/ethernet-without-routers-for-grblhal this guide, but not able to find IP address on console tab. kindly help me.

kindly clear me below doubt.
with out connecting ethernet cable between T41U5XBB and windows 10 laptop (USB connected) will it just show IP address in console tab ?

The IP address will only show up in Help > About if there is a connection (link signal present) between the laptop and the controller.
Is the green LED in the controller socket flickering or on? If not the connection (cable?) is not up.
