Bug
Running latest gupax as non-root (normal user), launches GUI, started node synching (at 30%) now try xmrig , enter key hash, and click START all with default values, causes GUI to feeze with logs of errors..
Steps
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Downloaded latest tag.gz, ran gui and allowed it to pull all rest of binaries.. steps described above.
errors start with:
[INFO] [16.916] [<redacted>:0] XMRig | Entering watchdog mode... woof!
[WARN] [16.917] [/home/runner/.cargo/registry/src/index.crates.io-1949cf8c6b5b557f/reqwest-retry-0.9.1/src/middleware.rs:171] Retry attempt #0. Sleeping 729.893085ms before the next attempt
==== AUTHENTICATING FOR org.freedesktop.policykit.exec ====
Authentication is needed to run `/home/user/gupax-v2.0.1-linux-x64/x ... http-host 127.0.0.1 --http-port 18088' as the super user
Authenticating as: user
Password: [WARN] [17.648] [/home/runner/.cargo/registry/src/index.crates.io-1949cf8c6b5b557f/reqwest-retry-0.9.1/src/middleware.rs:171] Retry attempt #1. Sleeping 1.742160568s before the next attempt
This appears like it tries to authenticate to root?? couldn't find any docs that say gupax needs root ? how to automate that? it depends on additional agent setup?
later more errors flood:
