Allow instant verification via NFC

Passports have NFC chips! This means that we can read them via an app, verify the data, and thus have instant verification for users. NFC passports are also impossible to fake the data for, which massively boosts security + decreases the risk of AI-generated passports.

We could even:

• extract + cross-check MRZ/VIZ data from the passport photo page
• have liveness checks

which would help decrease fraud significantly, whilst having little friction for users.

We'd also need certificates to verify the data: you can get these with https://jmrtd.org/certificates.shtml, https://pkddownloadsg.icao.int. https://www.bsi.bund.de/SharedDocs/Downloads/DE/BSI/ElekAusweise/CSCA/GermanMasterList.html from the German BSI could be helpful too?

this would be neat, but do any of the countries we actually run into fraud from do this?

Not off the top of my head (remind me what the main country list is?), this is mainly for convenience since people would have their submission -> verified time go from several hours to about two minutes from start to finish

(Also it'd mean that HCA would not have to store the ID images since you can cryptographically verify that the document is real, you'd just need to store the numbers/name/DOB)
