[Feature Request] Web-based certificate issuance for non-ACME devices

It would be great if LabCA could let users issue certificates directly via the web interface. This is especially useful for devices that don’t support ACME, so they can still get certificates without extra hassle.

I don't have time to add this feature myself unfortunately. Also, as certificate lifetimes will get shorter and shorter the coming years, non-automated certificate issuing will become even a bigger a hassle.

I suggest to look into something like acme.sh or other standalone clients to get a certificate for such devices.

Thanks for the response. I completely understand that adding this feature would require a significant amount of effort, especially time-wise.
I also get the point about shorter certificate lifetimes making manual issuance more cumbersome in the future. For now, we’ll look into using standalone clients like acme.sh as suggested.
If the project grows further or priorities change down the road, it might be worth revisiting this feature at some point. Thanks again for the input and for maintaining the project.
