~ Character causes a new dir to be created

When downloading URLs that contain the character "~" it creates another unnecessary subdir. Example below:

Downloading orbita.starmedia.com/~angra-site to websites/orbita.starmedia.com/~angra-site/ from Wayback Machine archives.

Getting snapshot pages.. found 61 snaphots to consider.

15 files to download:
