Some USB-Serial adapters broken on Raspberry Pi/Yellow with OS 16.1

Describe the issue you are experiencing

After the upgrade from 16.0 to 16.1 the usb stick failed to initialize.

Reboot or unplug+plug-again does not solve the issue.
After the downgrade to 16.0, the usb stick is working, with these log entries.

What operating system image do you use?

yellow (Home Assistant Yellow)

What version of Home Assistant Operating System is installed?

16.1

Did the problem occur after upgrading the Operating System?

1. Upgrade to HassOS 16.1

Same problem here with ZHA to a remote Zigbee coordinator (SLZB-06, ZNP through socket instead of USB)
Worked like a charm until I updated to HassOS 16.1

Z-Wave (Z-Wave JS) also stopped working (also through a socket to another remote Z-Wave radio)

Same issue unable to connect to SLZB-06 via ZNP Socket:// Can't connect to remove drive either for backups.

Any work around or going to have to restore ?

HmIP-RFUSB also fails on Yelllow after upgrade to 16.1.
Downgrade to 16.0 fixes it again.

Same device works fine on a HA Green with 16.1.

A similar thing happened to me with a MiniPC (Acemagic T9 Plus) with LEDs on the case controlled by the serial port. A few months ago, after a HAOS update, the script control stopped working.

Maybe same here: Pi 5 with SLZB-06P7 - no connection to Adapter after Update 16.0-> 16.1

Downgrade OS ("ha os update --version 16.0") fixed it.

In your case only a led, in my case the risk of death ;-)

I had the same issue in my Proxmox VM, after the HAOS update my Connect ZBT-1 was gone and wouldn't come back even after multiple HA restarts, only after a complete reboot of the VM the Stick was detected again.

For me it's working. I always do complete reboots.
