Home Assistant connection no longer appears in the + menu in chat

ChatGPT Plus user here. HA MCP connects successfully and still shows as connected in ChatGPT Settings, but it no longer appears in the chat UI/+ menu.

I have:

refreshed the connection
restarted the HA MCP add-on
confirmed the add-on is healthy

This looks less like an HA-side failure and more like a ChatGPT-side UI/availability change or regression.

Can anyone confirm whether custom MCP apps are still expected to surface in normal chat for Plus users?

This is a ChatGPT-side issue — if the connection shows as healthy in Settings and the add-on is running fine, ha-mcp is doing its job.

I'd check OpenAI's community forum for known regressions with MCP integrations, or reach out to OpenAI support directly since they control the chat UI behavior.
