Following up on our previous theme and font family enhancements, you can now change the font size within the application. This new setting offers even more personalization, allowing you to tailor AiderDesk's appearance to your visual preferences.

Other Changes

• Added token information for context files, providing better insight into their contribution to the overall context.
• Fixed an issue where info message types were appearing prematurely before the end of diffs when using fast models.

The real killer feature in Subagent Memory Modes would be the ability to generate the key takeaways from past output and prompt. The "Full Context" option (of the conversation) is not an enhancement, it dilutes the output quality. Even Gemini Pro 2.5 with its 1m token window loses its mind after 150k tokens.
Imagine a simple button that summarizes the convo and opens a new conversation with only the takeaways as context. Now your llm is steered in the right direction.

This topic has been discussed in #368, and full-context memory is indeed relevant for certain subagents. Its applicability largely depends on the specific subagent, though.

Alternatively, "Last Message" mode might be what you're seeking, as most of the subagents are designed to send its summary to the main agent as the final message. However, this approach, too, depends on the particular subagent.

Imagine a simple button that summarizes the convo and opens a new conversation with only the takeaways as context. Now your llm is steered in the right direction.

The /compact command is currently available for the entire conversation, but it might also make sense to add this functionality to the subagent conversation itself. Is this something you have in mind? Thanks.

This is the issue.

Maybe it's just me, I find this configuration overly complexe. A general / universal takeaway generator, regardless of the agent, would simplify it all, on your side as the tool maintainer, and on our side as users.
