Malformed page on latest version

After upgrading to the latest version (Version 1.17.0), when the extension is enabled, some websites get malformed.

Another issue is that when the extension is enabled, the UI theme of ArgoCD gets dark, even in the setting it has set to "Light", and when the extension is disabled, the website renders Light correctly. It's a bit weird!

Could you do me a favor and disable the Desktop FAB, then check whether the malformed issue still occurs or not?

I couldn't find the ArgoCD URL to test it myself.

If it's available on Cloud, could you share the link? That would be very helpful.

Of course. But I have another issue, the changes won't save.

After disabling and clicking "Save Changes", it jumps to the "Prompt Template" section, and the save changes doesn't react to click, and the prompt textarea gets a blue border:

FUN: How to fix this issue? Not saving changes. I tried changing many other options, and it can't save!

Unfortunately, the ArgoCD UI is the internal service for the company, but there is an online demo: https://cd.apps.argoproj.io/
In my testings, the same issue occurs in the demo also.

Wow, you managed to find 3 bugs at once : )

Thanks a lot for the ArgoCD demo link that made it much easier to investigate.

I found and fixed 2 issues related to this report:

• A theme isolation bug that could affect the host page theme.
• A UI host/layout isolation bug that could interfere with some page layouts.

The prompt settings issue is a new one, and honestly that's a pretty interesting bug
I'll definitely take a look at it and get it fixed as well.

Nice job. Glad to help. I just wanted to inform you about the white square box, then I noticed the theme switch after disabling the extension, and finally, with your guide to disable FAB, 3rd one raised. Very interesting 🙂

Hey @Amm1rr, is there any update on this issue?
I have more examples of malformed websites, such as this.

Version: 1.17.1 (installed from firefox add-ons hub)

Here is a screenshot of the extension enabled on Firefox:

Also, by disabling the extension on this website, the page is still malformed:

And when the extension is disabled from Firefox extension management settings, websites loads correctly:

This pattern repeats on many other websites. I will add them when I find more in the future.
