Feature: "Regular text" highlighting

Sometimes, I'd like to emphasize some points or other text my my Vroom presentations, but as far as I can tell, there's only support for syntax highlighting of code.

Would it be possible to somehow add support for markdown (or something else that gives at least some options for simple highlighting)?
