Hello all,,
I'm new to Packetfence but I'm trying to deploy it to my network. I have two switches, a Cisco 9300-48UXM and a Cisco CBS350-48FP-4X. I'm trying to deploy MAB on both switches. It works fine on the Cisco 9300-48UXM but I can't get it to work on the Cisco CBS350-48FP-4X. For additional information, the Cisco CBS350-48FP-4X hangs off the Cisco 9300-48UXM but it has a trunk uplink
When using the Cisco CBS350 I am able to see the client under the Nodes section:
This is the switch port configuration:
On the switch I can see the client on the correct VLAN
But no matter how long we wait he never gets an IP address:
If the switch port is changed to an access port instead of a MAB port, the client gets an IP address with no issues.
I also have a registration (vlan 666) and isolation (vlan 777) VLAN on the Packetfence server. However the client only gets that IP if I make the switch port an access port as well.
I also made sure that I have the DHCP server IP addresses in Packetfence:
Any help would be greatly appreciated
