Closing in favor of a combined vite@8 + @vitejs/plugin-react@6 upgrade PR. These two are mutually dependent (plugin-react@6 requires vite@8 peer, vite@8 needs plugin-react@6 for v4 peer range exclusion) and can't merge independently. Will be replaced by a manual PR with a regenerated lock file.
