`redirect_to` does not work with file extensions

Similar to the issue with trailing slashes,

will 404, while

permalink: /kotchka
redirect_to: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/543908157794156584/806716371244548126/[REDACTED]
---

will not 404. This is an issue because I cannot include the proper file extension.
CCing @s-chizhik in case they know, but it's a long shot.

@L1ving I've checked your examples in my project, both work fine. Maybe it can be related to the limitations described in README 🤷‍♂️
