How to alter colors in Interactive staging/focused pane mode ?

I understand there is no support for a full on pager once the pane is in focus and navigable with visual/select hunk modes, but the text is still colored in certain ways:

• Green for add
• Red for remove
• Cyan for frag
• Normal bold for meta.... etc

There also is no configuration as of now to change it AFAIK but is it possible to obtain pointers as to where that coloring is taking place in the code if it actually happens in LG ?

So there is no configuration to change it right now. It is used here though:

I did a little edit locally to make it yellow and magenta and it shows up in the places I would expect

(Shows up inside the focused mode)

If a maintainer sees this would adding the possibility of changing those values from the config file be a welcome contribution ?

I wouldn't be opposed, I guess. The configs would probably be added in the existing git.theme. section (in the ThemeConfig struct in the code). Biggest challenge is to come up with good names to make it really clear what they are for.

One thought though: git itself has configs for these too (e.g. color.diff.old and color.diff.new); we might consider using those instead of adding our own. I haven't checked if their color syntax is different from ours though, or how hard it would be to translate between the two.

If it will be configurable can we have a way to change how it looks on selection? The green and red text on selection changes color. I want to keep the same text color and change only background color. There's not a way to set the styling it's automatically bold.
