Tuning of minimum opening degree, opening_threshold and max_opening_degree

Hello, maybe I have misconfiguration or missed something but heating from central boiler in my case is requested even the current temp on VTherms is still higher than setpoint which I assume might be right if algorithm expecting temp to drop under soon but I don't know if that is right. Could any advise please?

The temperature never dropped below the set point except on initial heating.

• Sonoff TRVZBs used
• Central boiler (eletric) distributes hot water to radiators
• Cycle set - 15 minutes
• 300 sec activation delay
• TPI values are default values
• Regulation threshold - 5
• Minimum opening degree - 30

Maybe the issue is my crappy thermometers which are not reporting very often. I just ordered Sonoffs...

30% as minimum opening is very high. If you configure it to 0 what happens ?

If you need fine tuning, yes, central config is not accurate.

@jmcollin78 just for clarification am I right that central boiler "on percent" is calculated from central TPI?

Helo, there is no central TPI but only a configuration that is shared among all VTherm that "used the central configuration". Each VTherm are independant but take their parameters from the central config.

Ah I thought that central is controlling on time pf central boiler and per VTherm (over climate) controls % of valve opening. Am I able to affect these two actions separately pr is it controlled by same TPI under VTherm please? For example - the on percent for boiler is fine but I want valve to be opened more aggressively.

Each VTherm is independant. Each Vtherm calculate its own on_percent (with its own TPI algo which has its parameter eventually by the central configuration) and calculate its own opening degree (with its own 3 parameters: opening_threshold, minimum_opening and maximum_closing).

If you need a heating phase more agressive, then you can augment the minimum_opening degree. It will start heating with more power.
