Hello, In open window with action=turn off, the VTherm is turned off and then doesn't accept the sleep mode. I think VTherm can be improved for that cases. |

Hi,
I am experiencing some functional limitations regarding the "Zzz" (Sleep) mode for my Sonoff TRVZB (Firmware 1.4.4) setup and would like to clarify if these are expected behaviors or bugs:
Zzz Mode vs. Open Window: I noticed that the "Zzz" mode cannot be activated via the UI card if an "Open Window" state is active. The system seems to prioritize the Open Window state and completely blocks the Zzz preset. Is this designed behavior or should Zzz mode be allowed to override/run alongside the Open Window state (since Zzz also keeps the valve open)?
Zzz Mode vs. Stopped Mode: As previously discussed, I cannot trigger Zzz mode while the system is in "Stopped" mode. I understand that "Stopped" disables the thermostat, but it creates a conflict when I want to force all valves to stay 100% open (to prevent pin damage) while the heating is shut down for the season.
My questions are:
Is the blocking of Zzz mode by the Open Window state an intended design, or a bug?
Should I be avoiding the "Stopped" mode entirely when I want to use Zzz mode? If so, what is the best practice to "shut down" the system for the season while keeping valves in a safe (open) position?
I appreciate your help in understanding the intended workflow for these states.
