On a site with many collaborators, it's difficult to tell how a redirect was added. Was it a user, or was it automatically generated by a plugin option?
The ability to trace creation and edits can exponentially speed up debugging processes. Full post-type revision support would be ideal, but if too difficult to implement having the "last edit" and/or "created by" would suffice.
