auto clamping doesnt work?

i have been searching for auto clamping according to the height for a long time now.

but not sure what needs to be done for this. can you give an example of fitting to several sizes?

It kind of works ... just specify the max-height... The issue is that it ALWAYS truncates to the first closing tag within the content!...
The same does not happen if you specify the number of lines you want!
