Is there any workaround to use kittens like choose-files choose-fonts themes in terminal multiplexers (eg, tmux, zellij)?

I don't have any expertise regarding the terminal multiplexer, but is it possible to use the above mentioned kitten in terminal multiplexers, I have a bash alias to quick play some of my favorite songs from library.

  listen() {
    local file
    file=$(kitten choose-files ~/Music)
    [[ -n "$file" ]] && play "$file"
  }

as you can see in the image below, I can't see the text:

Do I have to give up on terminal multiplexer?

Yes, these wont work with tmux style multiplexers. They use lots of advanced protocols that they are unlikely to support.
