Unexpected Error When Switching Users and Reopening Workflow

Description:

Steps to reproduce:

1. Log in as user1 and open a workflow.
2. Log out.
3. Log in as the superuser (admin).
4. Without making any changes, log out.
5. Log in again as user1.
6. Try to open the same workflow.

Expected behavior:
The workflow should open normally for user1.

Actual behavior:
An error message appears:

Sorry, we found an unexpected error.

Additional context:
No changes are made as the superuser. The error only appears after this sequence of logins and logouts.
