it's mostly for people (including myself) who does not like the terminal and want simple acces without the terminal to simply turn on/off the MPRISENCE

Hi, thank you for your suggestion! You are talking about a GUI that could help configuring mprisence easily right? That would be an amazing idea.
However, I am currently revamping the CLI and working on a way to help users set up and configure MPRISENCE interactively from the CLI as well. I want to finish and stabilize that first before adding another frontend.

yes i'm talking about a GUI app that could help new users or people that don't like the CLI and configuring the files manually !
it would be great indeed because i had trouble setting it up and it dosn't work for youtube (skill issue of me) worked for videos players like Haruna but not easily because i suck at CLI lol ! really looking forward to this project it looks so pomising

@clem691 Hi, I threw together an extension for GNOME that adds a setting to toggle mprisence to the top right panel (git.sr.ht). The extension hasn't been reviewed, so you can't install it from extensions.gnome.org yet, but you can install it manually like this:

$ git clone https://git.sr.ht/~choimadeleine/gnome-extension-mprisence
$ cd gnome-extension-mprisence
$ make install

hello ! im thankfull for the GNOME extension but the thing is im on KDE atm but again thank you a lot for the work !
