Loading SMS save state crashes RetroArch

System: SteamOS latest stable
RetroArch: 1.22.2

Problem: When I load SMS save state file after restarting RetroArch, it crashes. Before restarting RetroArch loading from the same save state works fine.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Select Nuked Master System FM core in settings
2. Load Power Strike (USA, Europe, Brazil) (En) ROM
3. Save state
4. Close RetroArch
5. Start RetroArch
6. Load Power Strike (USA, Europe, Brazil) (En) ROM
7. Load state
   RetroArch will crash.

Adding some additional information here as I also ran into the same issue with the current build of the core and RA 1.22.2 (Windows 11 x64 here)

• With all default Core Options + Settings I cannot reproduce
• I have narrowed it down to the Core Option genesis_plus_gx_ym2413_core = "nuked". When this is set to "mame" it loads correctly, but fails when set to "nuked"

Hope that helps narrow down the issue a bit.
