What happened?

The broken entry key: "Linux Mint Refreshed" (with spaces) in themes.json

Description: "This theme is missing an info.json" — served from the Spices server, causes an error dialog on every page load in Themes → Add/Remove

The fixed duplicate already exists as "Linux-Mint-Refreshed" (with hyphens) and should replace it

Workaround: manually removing the bad key from ~/.cache/cinnamon/spices/theme/index.json works until refresh re-downloads it

This doesn't seem to be a problem with the repository but rather the web indexing as mentioned above.

I'm not a proficient programmer by any means. I'm just a user who can't get rid of an error in Spices. Likewise, I'm sure other people are having similar issues. I just wanted to report it so we can fix it, improving the user experience for everyone. Is the web indexing something that needs to be resolved on my end? I managed to get rid of it once with the help of AI but as soon as I try to update Spices it comes back.

I would suggest asking one of the maintainers who has access to that so they could remove it permanently. The error is visible to me and definitely to every Cinnamon user therefore I do want this issue to be eliminated as soon as possible.

I didn't create this problem! I don't know who the maintainers are. As I said before, I'm not a programmer. You created the problem, you fix it.

This isn't an issue with the repository therefore I can't do anything about it. The problem started when a maintainer approved my theme without knowing that there was a missing hyphen. I made multiple pull requests to fix the issues with no success whatsoever.

For a while now, I haven't been able to load the images for some of the Cinnamon themes. Could this bug be related to that?
