ty was released. Is it time to migrate from mypy to ty?

ty, the new statical type checker for python was released.

I was surprised the speed of ty, then gokart should need to integrate it for better CI experience.

But I think this is so early to do it, because enough time is not passed yet, ty might not be stable.

How do you think about this?

ty lacks some features, and luigi is also missing a few functionalities. We plan to switch to ty, pyrefly, or pyright once those features are merged into luigi.

Ah, ty does not have enough features to use on prod.
I see your PRs, then understand what luigi is missing.
