This project is an open-source reference implementation of the EHDS regulation, bringing together the standards that will shape cross-border health data sharing across Europe.

• 7 demo personas (Patient, Researcher, Hospital, Regulator, Admin, and more) walking through real EHDS workflows
• 127 synthetic patients with FHIR R4 clinical records mapped to OMOP CDM for research analytics
• 5,300+ knowledge graph nodes across 5 architecture layers (DSP, HealthDCAT-AP, FHIR, OMOP, Biomedical Ontologies)
• Dataspace Protocol (DSP 2025-1) contract negotiation and secure data transfer
• Decentralised Claims Protocol (DCP) for verifiable credentials and trust anchors
• EEHRxF profile alignment showing EU FHIR interoperability coverage

Why this matters

The EHDS regulation will transform how 450 million Europeans access their health data and how researchers collaborate across borders. This demo makes these abstract standards tangible so that developers, researchers, hospitals, and regulators can see how the pieces fit together.
