Streamline pattern documentation to a coherent story

To improve coherence, the pattern documentation should follow a consistent narrative thread rather than using scattered, disconnected examples. We propose telling the story from the perspective of an ingot of steel as it transforms through different stages—drawing from the philosophical statue/clay problem. This consistent perspective would make the patterns more relatable and easier to understand.

Section 1: The Steel Ingot Story (Narrative)

• Ingot/Portion of Steel – Duality of object identity
• Homogenization Annealing – Temporal regions, participants,
• second picture: same ingot anchor, different TQC microstructures (as-cast vs. solution-annealed)
• Hot Rolling Process Chain – Ingot input → strand output (object and microstructure changes; composition remains)
• Add missing: hot rolling plan specification + execution
• Cutting Strand into Slabs – Material anchor, TQC strand/slab objects
• Vickers Hardness Measurement – The slab as measurand in the measurement process

Section 2: Detail Patterns

• Material Properties – Qualities, behavioral, relational properties (untangle into 3 separate graphs)
• Measurement Obsolescence – Condition for measurement to remain relevant (extends point 5)
• Value – Merge SVS and categorical VS into one unified section
• Chemical Composition – Properties and tracking through transformations
