Install extension or use template from custom GitHub repository

Asking here before creating an issue just in case. Is there an option through Quarto Wizard to get something that is not necessarily in https://m.canouil.dev/quarto-extensions? Something like quarto use template your-github/your-repo. If this extension aims to replace the CLI as an intuitive graphical interface, then I guess this option should also be available.

The aim is not to replace the CLI. It's to provide access to a catalog of extensions with some metadata such as version to allow easier update.
It also enforces the use of tag/release when the maintainer of an extension created those.
This allows better reproducibility.

I think if there is to be an UI to install any extensions (as long as you know the location), this should be in quarto (VSCode/Positron extension).

quarto use template is very particular as I had to workaround the CLI to make it work.

• Refactor quartoWizard.useTemplate to use quarto use template #144 (quarto use template --no-prompt only works in empty directory quarto-dev/quarto-cli#11127)

So, whether it's in quarto or Quarto Wizard, it requires the above CLI issue to be fixed.
