SQL Database Projects - Build output missing post 1.4.6

• SQL Database Projects: 1.5.0 and beyond
• OS Version: Windows 11 10.0.22631

Steps to Reproduce:

If i have any version of SQL Database Project installed beyond 1.4.6 and attempt to compile/build the output just says '[Build]'. It's builds nothing. No model, files, object interdependencies, nothing.

Revert back to 1.4.6, builds and reports issues as normal.

Am I missing some updated setting or something I need to do differently?

Im also running Microsoft.Build.Sql Version="0.1.9-preview" in the project config

Does this issue occur when all extensions are disabled?: No - It's a problem with an extension so it has to be enabled

I am perplexed.
If you open terminal and run dotnet build - what sort of output occurs?
If you modify the project config to version 1.0.0, then run build (either in the extension or the terminal), does this change the output?

Good question.

Using the terminal it builds as expected with any version, including past 1.4.6. Reports errors correctly/etc... which I guess would be fine and of course what our CI/CD is doing but not sure why that extension is not kicking it off all the sudden.

But if I use the project/right click 'build' option it just sits there with the '[Build]' output in the 'Database Projects' heading.

Also interesting, when I have 1.4.6 installed, that Database Project output heading is auto selected and shown when i right click and say 'build'

Any version beyond that does not auto select it and appears not to even invoke an actual build. I have to go select the output dropdown to even see the '[Build]' show up and nothing else.

Trying 1.0.0 in project config gives same '[Build]' issue.
