When a user asks Copilot to create a Foundry hosted agent for a specific task, the Microsoft Foundry canvas opens with the original task in its starter prompt. The user must then click Start to submit essentially the same request again.
This adds an unnecessary confirmation step and interrupts the natural chat workflow. The Foundry workflow still requires azd sign-in and a Foundry project—even for local agent creation—so simply skipping Canvas does not solve the underlying setup requirement.
