Elevate a seperate tab in one terminal window

Hello, I wanted a feature in Windows terminal where if you wanted to elevate a tab instead of in a new terminal window, terminal could perhaps elevate it inline, just like microsoft's sudo, i hope this works with terminal, this is useful because if you don't want to lose progress or just don't want confusion, this might help after all, why does every tab either have to open in a new window or you have to open terminal itself as Administrator? Users have to use third party sudo programs like gsudo or the native sudo to elevate it inline, adding it as a feature would be much appreciated

... why don't you just set the commandline of the new tab to sudo <whatever you want to run>? sudo.exe was literally built exactly for this use case. Bundling sudo with the Terminal doesn't really make sense (since it's already just there in Windows)
