Windows Terminal version
1.25.1912.0
Windows build number
28120.2760
Other Software
Test Environment:
OS: Windows 11 Version Dev (OS Build 28120.2760)
App: Windows Terminal Preview
Screen Reader: Narrator
Steps to reproduce
Pre-requisite:
Apply the resize using following path: Settings>Accessibility>Display>Display resolution>Change display resolution to '1680 * 1050' >Keep changes>Drag the 'Text size' slider to '200%'>Apply>Re-open the application.
Repro steps:
- Open the 'Windows Terminal' application.
- Navigate to 'Settings' control and activate it.
- 'Settings' page will open.
- Now navigate to 'Extensions' tab in left navigation pane and activate it.
- 'Extensions' page will open.
- Now apply 200% text scaling by following the prerequisites.
- Navigate to 'Added Profiles' section.
- Observe the entries under the 'Added Profiles' section.
User experience:
Users with low vision who rely on increased text scaling may be unable to identify profile sources or extensions because the displayed text is truncated. This reduces readability and makes it difficult to distinguish between similar profiles.

Expected Behavior
Text content should remain readable and should either:
- Fully display within the available space through responsive layout adjustments, or
- Be truncated using an accessible and standard horizontal ellipsis while ensuring essential information remains visible.
UI elements should properly reflow and scale without loss of content when text scaling is increased to 200%.
Actual Behavior
Text associated with profiles in the 'Added Profiles' section is truncated at 200% text scaling and appears with vertical ellipsis, preventing users from viewing the full profile identifier information.
