Are you maintaining LeaderKey?

To be clear, I don't have any complaints, I've never really experienced bugs with it, but... I'm aware a new macOS is coming out v. soon and I want to pre-emptively ask if you'll update it for the new version of MacOS.

I'm not super interested in Tuna - not because I don't believe it's a wonderful app, but because it seems to overlap with Raycast which is my daily driver. The only thing it lacks is a LeaderKey like functionality.

So, yeah, would you be able to share any medium term plans? 6-12months? If you're going to kill this or not support it for the next versions of MacOS then I'll clone it and keep as a personal project. I can add updates for new versions of MacOs and more themes. I'm wary of forking in case you nuke the repo and force remove any forks.

I guess that Mikker has quite clearly stated that he has stopped working on LeaderKey altogether and is not interested in picking it up ever again. So I doubt he'll answer here, but if he does, even better. Tuna is heavily being worked on and will also provide some income to Mikker, so he has good reasons for that. But he also appears to be a very nice guy who certainly won't sabotage someone who forks and brings LeaderKey forward, provided that the fork be named differently than "LeaderKey".

As someone who did get a Tuna license but still loves LeaderKey for its simplicity (and who cannot run Tuna on all my Macs as some are stuck on an older macOS version) I personally like someone to take this approach.

Doesn't make sense for me to work on both apps. So Leader Key will be more or less staying as is. Working, free, Open Source. Anyone is welcome to fork. If you decide to distribute it too, I'd appreciate if it's under a new name.

Fwiw, Tuna has all the features of Leader Key + others that have been requested a bunch. There's no reason you can't run Raycast and Tuna side by side.

To add, if Leader Key completely breaks down in a future macOS, I'm open to making and releasing bug fixes. But I think it's unlikely to break.
