Add resolution switching

Hi
First of all, thanks for your great player.
I'm using not an nvidia shield as a android media player, so I can't use the shields good upscaler.
So my question is, can you also add a resolution switch besides the framerate switch?
My player isn't that good with upscaling 1080p or 720p to 4k. My TV does that a lot better.
