Upgrade to support API v4

Lemmy issue

We just published the first beta version of Lemmy 1.0. It includes a new API v4 with many new features and some breaking changes.

Now is the time for you to update your app and make it compatible with 1.0. For this you can follow the upgrade guide. The beta phase is also the ideal time to give feedback, and to make improvements to the API before the final 1.0 release.

Hey there @dessalines, thank you for the heads up!

Sadly I'm afraid this won't happen anytime soon, as the activity on the Lemmy library that Neon Modem Overdrive is using has seemingly died down completely and I don't think I have the capacity to upgrade/maintain it on my own.

However, if anyone feels like trying to upgrade the go-lemmy library, or if anyone can recommend a different Golang library for 1.0 that I could switch to, I'd be happy to rewrite that layer of NMO. :-)

No probs. Luckily that library is correctly generating the go library from the typescript types, so it wouldn't take too much work to fix.
