Advice on viewing photo album hosted on rclone remote with gallery app

Wondering if anyone has any advice on a good way to view a photo album that is on an rclone remote directory, with a gallery app.
Is there any existing apps that can view web-dav or http served directories without downloading?

I tried using termux which is a Linux emulator for Android. You can install and run rclone in there and that gives you the ability to load command line Flags like the one you need for cashing. The problem is it doesn't support mounting a remote at all.

You need fuse to mount with rclone, and there's no way to install it in termux.

The only solution I could think of would be for the developer of roundsync to add a fundamental feature that the product is missing and desperately needs which is the ability to apply Flags of any kind. Depending on the remote that you're using you might need one flag or another and you can do that from the command line in Windows Linux and Mac but not in roundsync.

I have good news for you, rclone mount seems to work very well in termux, including vfs-caching. I followed this guide on stack exchange: https://android.stackexchange.com/a/225612 (be sure to see the last comment to change the nsenter command). Able to browse photos without significant lag.

Thank you, only I don't want to root my phone and cause unreversible changes. According to my research and this note in order to mount in terms the phone needs to be rooted and I don't want to do that to my production phone.

Do you know of a method that allows you to mount with fuse and not root the phone?

Magisk says it will cause irreversible changes on a Samsung phone.

You can use flashlight file manager to access rclone remotes served using webDAV or FTP etc. you can view images without downloading it. works well on mega but problematic on google photos since you can only view and download images uploaded using rclone. I use termux to serve them.
