Hi,
Today Nextcloud only allows enforcing sharing link expiration globally.
There is no way to enforce a default expiration (e.g. 60 days) based on group membership, which is a common enterprise use case.
Example:
Internal users (group Internal) → long or no enforced expiration
External users (group External) → automatic expiration after X days
This was already requested in #26595, but the capability is still missing.
Password enforcement already supports group-based exceptions; expiration should offer the same flexibility.
Is this feature planned, or can it be reconsidered?
Thanks.
