Friendica cannot connect to Social

Describe the bug
I cannot connect a nextcloud user to a Friendica account

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Friendica stream
2. Click on user id
3. Scroll down to follow
4. See error

The profile address specified does not provide adequate information.
No compatible communication protocols or feeds were discovered.
Unable to match @-style identity address with a known protocol or email contact.
Use mailto: in front of address to force email check.
