join script of the nextcloud app failed

Thanks for the app update. I finally upgraded my UCS server to 5.2 without larger issues. However the join script of the nextcloud app failed with

  There are no commands defined in the "saml:config" namespace.
Could not configure Keycloak as Nextcloud Identity Provider

The same has been reported in https://help.univention.com/t/univention-5-2-nextcloud/23841/35.
After logging in with nc_admin I saw in the app list that user_saml was neither installed nor enabled. So i run
univention-app shell nextcloud sudo -u www-data php /var/www/html/occ app:enable user_saml. After that the join script run successfully.
Should this command be prepended to nextcloud_configure_saml function in inst file?

@palstek are you sure you went with 30.0.15-0? For that issue was fixed in 35d8083 by the patch applied against the server.

Yes, otherwise UCS refused to update to 5.2 version. Or was there another intermediate version in the app store?

I had the same issue as my NC instance had pinged the NC servers repeatedly until our IP had been blocked for too many requests (429 error). Initially thought the App store in NC was broken due to update, but found the 429 when browsing to the web app store. I used VPN to manually download the user_saml-v....tar.gz and cp into the appropriate directory within the container.

Indeed, 31.0.9 appeared only in Nov 2025.

The installation alone by far does not do as many requests to the appstore to run into rate limiting.
