Missing Linux support in platform compatibility

The README lists supported platforms as macOS (Apple Silicon), macOS (Intel), and Windows. However, there's no mention of Linux support. Given that the project is open-source and targets developers/small teams, Linux compatibility would be valuable for many potential users. The docs should either clarify if Linux is intentionally unsupported or add it to the roadmap if planned.

You're right that the README currently only lists macOS (Apple Silicon), macOS (Intel), and Windows. Here's what I found digging into the codebase:

Current state: Linux isn't in the official release pipeline yet. The CI release workflow builds and packages for macOS (arm64 and x64) and Windows only — there's no Linux runner in the matrix, and the electron-builder config doesn't define a linux target.

That said, the groundwork is there: the repo already ships a full set of Linux-sized icons (apps/desktop/build/icons/linux/, 16×16 through 512×512), and PR #888 explicitly wired up the Help menu to work correctly on Windows and Linux at the Electron layer. So if you build from source on a Linux machine today, you'd likely have a working app — it just isn't a packaged, downloadable release yet.

Where this goes from here — I've tagged this feature + help wanted + good first issue. Two flavors of contribution would both be welcome:

1. Docs-only PR (easiest): Update the README to clarify Linux status — e.g., "Linux: buildable from source; official packages coming" — with a note pointing to build instructions. First-timer friendly.
2. Linux packaging PR (more involved): Add a linux electron-builder target and a Linux runner to the release CI. The icon assets are already there, so it's mostly build config + a GitHub Actions matrix entry.
