not able to uncompress the lfw.tgz

it is showing -

tar: Error opening archive: Failed to open 'lfw.tgz'

also, when i run the code to make data folder, its not created inside the main folder but as an independent folder in my drive. how can i resolve that?

Might be too late but you can use a free unzipping software such as 7-Zip to unzip, the command didn't work for me either
