Background tasks stuck, unable to create new users

Hi,

I am currently experiencing same issue as in these threads:

#3850
#3744

I have tried to start "crond -b", started /var/www/html/sources/scheduler.php manually but still tasks are stuck and we cannot create new users. Currently we have over 900 tasks stuck.

I also tried to delete tasks directly from teampass_background_tasks table, but it did not help.
How to fix this issue?

It seems that in version 3.1.4.14 background tasks are no longer working, so last version with working background tasks is 3.1.4.13

Do you have problems with cron job? I had the same issue after updating php to 8.4. The cause was wrong link of php executable that was poited to old php version. I fixed this and both cron job and user creation begin to work.
