No multi user support for a single container

Hi, I am planning on self hosting on a NAS with endpoints for all my users to individually have access of this tool, but there is no current multi user support, it is targeted for single user per machine. I am planning on branching a new feature to create profiles, like Netflix does. My question is, would this be better to hold on the main repository for the community or a separate personal fork?

Wait, isn't current "Users" functionality what you're looking for?
That's what I am using for my server users (friends&family). Everyone just creates their own account in Odysseus and I manage them through the admin Users panel.

I also use my own Authentik integration, but the official code support normal register and login functionalities.
