The Browser Plugin application type have many different fields but still using the same model

Describe the feature request?

I attempted to retrieve applications that are of the Browser Plugin type but do not share the same settings model. Each application will respond differently; however, because they rely on the same model, this can result in data loss and make it impossible to fully restore the application.
